Here we have a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale. This is a stunning car that has undergone a complete frame off restoration. Easily one of the most iconic muscle cars ever, the '70 Chevelle sported a one year only body style that to many will always be the King of the Muscle Cars. One look at her and you're guaranteed to fall in love. With the curves and styling it's easy to see what it's so loved. We can see that this '70 is gorgeous down the sides as it has a great panel fit with all of the body lines being stunning. The gaps are even, and the fit of the hood and trunk are phenomenal. It features the working cowl induction hood with the hood pins. Everything is covered in the Red with Black Super Sport stripes color scheme that has a gorgeous execution. It was redone in the base coat clear coat paint, and you can feel that the stripes were buried under the clear. Countless hours were spent wet sanding, buffing and polished this Chevelle to a mirror finish that's slick to the touch. All the stainless and chrome on this Chevrolet is beautiful form the bumpers to the wheel opening molding. You'll also notice that the glass is all equally impressive and has an excellent fit. To finish off the stance, this '70 is sitting on the 15” SS Wheels with Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Chevrolet. On the inside it's done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior color combo. It features the correct Bucket Seats and Console that houses the Four Speed Shifter. All the door panels are in excellent condition with the side glass all going up and down with ease along with a great fit. We can also see the carpet and headliner are like new and look to have been replaced at the time of the restoration. Looking at the dash you'll notice that the dash pad is also like new and has a great fit. This '70 does come with the Super Sport Round gauges that are working. It comes with the SS steering wheel as well and the factory style radio is in the dash. Inside the trunk is all rock solid from the trunk pan to the jam.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this '70 Chevelle. Under the hood it's powered by a fresh built 454 Big Block that's set up with the Edelbrock Performer Intake and Four Barrel Carb. This Chevrolet has the factory style air cleaner that seals to the working cowl induction hood. The 454 is dressed with the factory style air cleaner and has the GM marked hoses. This '70 is set up with Power Steering and Power Brakes with Disc on the front. To keep it cool they upgraded with the aluminum radiator. For exhaust it has Headers with 3” dual pipes and flow master style mufflers. When you look under this Chevelle you'll be thoroughly impressed with the frame off restoration. New body bushings were installed, and all the floor pans are rock solid. All new bushings were installed in the front end and on the highway, it handles with ease. The 454 runs thru the Muncie Four Speed Trans and 12 Bolt Posi Rear End. Of course, it's set up with the sway bars front and rear. On the highway this 454 runs strong and is a blast to drive.
