1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 Cleveland 4 Barrel Four Speed Manual 9" Rear End

Here we have a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 for sale. This was the first year for this body style and is easily one of the most iconic Mustangs on the highway. The one we have for you sports a beautiful color combo while also being paired with the desirable 351 Cleveland Four Barrel engine and Four Speed Trans. Don't miss your chance to be cruising in this stunning Mustang. We will start off with the exterior of this Mustang. As you can see the body is in very nice condition on it and has gorgeous lines that line up beautifully from the front to the back. Everything is showcased in the Grabber Yellow paint scheme that was redone in base coat clear coat. The yellow is accented by the black stripe down low along with having the black stripe on the hood. Both front and rear bumpers were replaced at the time of the restoration, and we can also see that it comes with a front and rear spoiler. You'll notice that the grill is in excellent shape along with the headlights and outback the tail lights are equally impressive along with the quick filling gas cap. All the glass in this Mustang is very nice along with the seals and weatherstripping. We can also see the drip rail trim along with the windshield and rear window trim is beautiful. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on the Magnum 500 wheels that were replaced new at the time of restoration and sports a set of Cooper cobra white letter tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this 71. On the inside it's done in the classic black color scheme that flows perfectly with the exterior color combo. Both door panels are in excellent shape and sport the wood grain accents that tie in beautifully to the dash. This Mustang comes with bucket seats and console that houses the four-speed shifter. We can see that both the front seats and the rear seats are in excellent condition along with the padding. The headliner and carpet are very nice, and we can see that new seal plates were installed. Looking at the dash we can see that the pad is in great shape along with all the gauges and it still sports a factory style knob radio. All the gauges are beautiful, and the speedometer, gas gauge and tach are working as they should. This Mustang comes with standard crank windows and the driver side remote mirror it also has the factory style steering wheel. Inside the trunk is very nice and we can see that it has had new trunk weather stripping installed.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood we can see that everything is very nice just like the rest of the car. The power comes from the 351 Cleveland V8 engine. It's set up with the four-barrel intake and carb and has been dressed out with the factory style air cleaner and also has the 351 valve covers. This Mustang comes with Power Steering along with Power Brakes that feature disc on the front. The 351 Cleveland runs through the Four Speed Manual Transmission and out back to the 9” Rear End. When you look under this '71 we can see that the floors all look to be in great shape and that it has been well cared for over the years. On the highway this Mustang runs out and drives excellent. The 351 provides plenty of power while giving you the joy of shifting thru the gears. It handles great and the brakes are responsive.
